Ian accepts commissions for individual items in
silver and gold
made to customers own specifications e.g. silver boxes, christening
spoons, church silver, goblets, commemorative items and trophies. |

Ian trained at the Birmingham School of Jewellery and Aston
University. He is extremely well qualified in silver and goldsmithing, jewellery
and furniture making. He worked for many years in The Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham making silverware for Cartiers and Mapin & Webb in London, and also working on commissions, some of which were given as presentation gifts by the Royal Family to foreign dignitaries. |
| Wishing to pass on his many skills, he turned to teaching in the 1970's
where he was able to work with
students using precious metals.
He also introduced a jewellery syllabus which was adopted by many schools.

| His aim is to encourage people of all ages to develop their skills, working with natural materials to produce a work of art which will give them a sense of achievement and great pleasure and for years to come. |  |
